The tour begins with a pick up from your accommodation in Fethiye and drive 36 kms / 22 miles to the Ancient city of Tlos which is the first destination. Here will see the Lycian ruins set on a high hilltop, then climb to the next hill to Acropolis, the highest point in the city and watch panoramic views of the whole complex including public baths, a large Roman stadium, and rock cut tombs carved into the mountainside.
After lunch, drive 20 minutes to the next destination Saklikent National Park which is one of the deepest Canyons in the World. Enter the Canyon on bridges that span the river, trek between the steep, rock walls of the Canyon to the river’s edge, then roll up your pants to walk across the current side (if desired, you can remain at a café without crossing the river). Continue through the canyon as the route narrows when you reach the opposite site, then loop back to the starting point of the Canyon walk.
You will have plenty of time to take photos in this adventurous day trip. Finish the day by driving back in the evening to Fethiye and dropping off at your hotel.
